Nick reacts badly when Sam informed him that she was accompanying Avery to Tennessee to follow up on Josh’s supposed adoption and potential abduction. She thinks he’s being unfair since she’s not interested in Avery. However, her father offers her a different perspective, advising her to consider her husband’s feelings. Your thoughts about the matter?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I thought Nick was acting like a jerk. He didn't seem to trust her with Avery which was ridiculous. She's done nothing to make him think she would suddenly run into Avery's arms when Nick's back was turned.

I’m somewhere in the middle on this. Yes, Nick was behaving irrationally but it was because he felt threatened. Avery’s feelings for Sam are real and Nick just sees red whenever the man’s around. Rather than tell him he was being silly, Sam should have first just acknowledged his feelings and let him talk it out. She handled it poorly, even though she was right.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments This Nick, Sam, Avery (Shelby) nonsense is tiresome. Is this romantic suspense or YA drama?
These people behave as if they were in high school, not professionals in serious positions of authority.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I agree. Sam should have acknowledged Nick's concerns and talked i through with him, but the situation is childish.

Also, Nick is with the infatuated Secret Service agent everyday, and poo poos Sam's concerns. Sam is with Avery occasionally.

The situation is ridiculous and needs to end soon.
