Okay. So, Troy and Dustin were lovers before they met Courtney. Troy married her and then after she caught them in bed together two months later, they invited her to join their relationship, creating a ménage arrangement. Ever see any part of this coming? Your thoughts?

I find it hard to believe that Courtney would catch her husband in bed with another man, then agree to be part of a threesome.

Courtney should have suspected something even before she caught them in bed together so I didn’t buy she was surprised. I think it more that she had feelings for both of them and that’s why she agreed to the relationship.

Never saw this coming. Jaw dropping moment.

I also didn't see this coming. The series challenges my ability to suspend disbelief.
I can accept Troy and Dustin's relationship and even Courtney being a Beard, but a threesome?!

Not to mention the idiotic explanation for the kidnapping. How on earth did someone as supposedly unstable as Dustin pass the FBI psych evaluations?

They only do the evals at the time they’re hired. He supposedly went off the rails when Courtney had her miscarriage.

Hmmm... I always thought they did them periodically. I still find it difficult to believe that someone unstable enough to kidnap a child would be able to do his job well enough to be promoted to Deputy Director of the FBI.

It was more plausible because they came as a package deal and Troy carried him along. He was the sane one and would have vouched for Dustin. I could see it. If it was the reverse? Not so much.

Oh, and the psych evals are only done later if there’re prompted by an event.

I never saw the menage coming. It is like Force wanted to get all the big romance tropes in this series. Sam and Nick find their hidden BDSM proclivities unexpectedly. Now she throws in a menage. Courtney being a part of their liaison seems weird, but she has feelings for both men.

I could see the package deal as lower level advancements, but once you move up the ranks it seems like it would be harder to pull someone up with you.
