Hector | 41 comments Hello! I recently got curious about how the atomic theory has evolved and what were the most important experiments that led scientists to the discovery of the atom.

I've seen a couple of YouTube videos on the topic but they were incomplete and the most reliable and complete source I've found was the Wikipedia page on Atomic Theory, but I assume it's not written for the lay person. I've also looked at the bibliography there but the books don't seem to have good ratings here in GR.

Does anyone know about a book about this topic? I'll greatly appreciate it!

Hector, I don't know of any books that cover exactly what you are looking for.

I found this book to be very good: Absolutely Small: How Quantum Theory Explains Our Everyday World

I also loved this book: A Beautiful Question: Finding Nature's Deep Design
