This 2 hour movie is coming to theaters October 25, 2024. No word yet on whether it will move to a streaming station. Thanks for the heads up Karen.

Trisha | 34 comments oooh, I'll definitely be checking to see your update if it's good! I keep seeing this trailer everywhere!

♥ Sandi ❣ | 617 comments I had to take it back due to library dates Trisha. But hope to get it again soon.

☮Karen | 78 comments Has anyone seen this in the theatre yet? I took a look at my local showtimes and it appears by the end of this week, Conclave will have moved on.
So I googled again where this might be streaming. Nowhere yet, but....

"Conclave is not available to stream at this time. A streaming release date for Conclave has not yet been revealed. However, since the film's distributor, Focus Features, operates under NBCUniversal, the film will likely land on Peacock, in either late December or early January."

♥ Sandi ❣ | 617 comments Oh Poo! One of the streaming services that I deleted. I just did not watch it enough to pay monthly for it. Soooo... I will try to snag a 10 day introductory plan once Conclave has competed it's run. Karen you are waiting for it so would you please give me a nod when it's playing it's last episode? I will binge it then. I would like to see it.

On a side note: I wonder how much longer these streaming services will go on on a month to month basis? I foresee that stopping and you having to commit to a 6 month or yearly lease. Not sure when that will happen, but I clearly expect it to.

Sandi, it's a movie, not a series so will let you know when it drops.

We had Peacock included in our service, they took it away as a free service, and then they offered it again as included. But they never "included" it automatically, I just saw it as a reward I could cash in and did so. So my Peacock is fleeting and who knows if they'll take it away again.
I never watch it.

♥ Sandi ❣ | 617 comments Still have not read this book or seen the movie. But it looks like it is now streaming on Peacock with rent or buy on Prime.

♥ Sandi ❣ | 617 comments I gave in and put Peacock back in. There are a few shows that I want to see, but will probably switch it out for WNBA in May when that starts again.

But I did watch Conclave - without having read the book. Altho I had the book in my hands twice I did not get it read before I head to return it to the library. So I can't say how close the movie followed the book, but I can say that I did enjoy the movie. Especially the twist at the end.
