Will Tyrone decides to leave the force. The impact of Detective Arnold’s death was the straw that broke the proverbial camel’s back and his heart isn’t in the job anymore. Do you understand his decision and is it possible he may return? Did Sam do the right thing in letting him go or should she have tried harder to keep him?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments I can understand where he is coming from. This has been on his mind for a long time and could be detrimental to his work as a cop. It might not be safe for him to continue at his job at this time. Maybe in the future he will change his mind and attempt to come back. I think Sam handled this correctly.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments This has beena long time coming. Tyrone hasn't been the same since Arnold's death and hinted at his wanting to quit before. Unlike Gonzo, who was struggling with the decision, Tyrone had made up his mind.

I agree that Sam handled it well and left the door open for him to return.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments I agree with you both.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I agree. I expected him to resign. His heart isn't in the job anymore.
