Sam has a nightmare where she recalls a phrase her ex-husband used to say to her when they were married that was very similar to the current threat. It leads the team to Peter’s apartment where they find him dead after obviously being tortured. Did you see that coming? What did you imagine at this stage?

My mind jumped to Peter long before Sam had her dream. I thought he had made the threats just to scare Sam. I didn't know if he would actually go after the kids, but I wouldn't have been surprised if he tried to kill Sam or Nick (again).

Peter was on my radar early as well. I wasn't expecting him to end up dead nor was I expecting to feel sorry for him after his past behavior.

I found it interesting that he didn't jump at the chance to hurt Sam and they needed to torture him for the information.

The comment about humility in the letter immediately led me to think of Peter, but I did not expect him to show up this way.

I agree with everyone. I suspected Peter, but I didn't expect his torture and death.
