👻Books must be a minimum of 140 pgs
👻Rereads are allowed if more than 6 months
👻Audiobooks should be a minimum of 3 hours long
👻Books may be started before the challenge starts if they are completed AFTER the start date
👻Graphic Novels must be a minimum of 200 pgs

Library Ghost:

The team is called to the library to investigate a ghost sighting. Wandering through the library, you notice symmetrical book stacking, ectoplasmic residue on card catalog drawers, and bookshelves falling over. Knowing you are getting close, your team continues exploring the library. As you round the corner, you see a female apparition. She is an older woman wearing a purple dress. She is reading a book and obviously thinks you guys are too loud. She shushes you. You attempt to talk to her and she scares your team away. Your team needs a plan to capture her.

How it fits: The main characters are using the library to try to fix a hole in the wall and how to take on the King in a battle. They spend many chapters in the library or going to and from the library.

Slimer:

The team is called to the hotel to investigate a ghost sighting on the 12th floor. Team member 2 sees it eating. It is a small green, slimy, see-through ghost. You try to catch him but miss and catch the wall on fire. It takes off. Team member 1 sights it in the hallway and is slimed as it runs straight through him/her. The ghost is then found in the ballroom. Your team is making quite a mess of the ballroom as it attempts to capture this ghost. There are small fires all around the room. broken furniture and food is strewn around. Don't forget that you shouldn't cross your streams! That could be very dangerous! Can you capture him or will he get away?

Subway Ghost:

Walter Peck forcibly shut down your facility's protection grid causing it to explode. This releases all the ghosts you previously caught. The Subway Ghost retreated to the Subway. It emerged at street level on Broadway and Murray st. While wailing and howling, it flailed its arms and mouth tentacles frightening citizens. Can your team capture him?

How it fits: This “tale” had me on the edge of my seat! The MC was a nurse on a mental hospital wing for patients who had committed crimes. Ward D gets locked where no one can get out including the nurses and doctor on shift. It is dark and scary!

How it fits: This book, while so entertaining, had a few explosions in it. The title alone should have tipped me off. There was bus explosion, a car, and a warehouse. This was exciting and fun from start to finish and everything you love in a Stephanie Plum story!! Read it you won't be disappointed, added bonus it's a quick/easy read!!

Zombie Taxi Ghost:

The zombie taxi driver was another ghost who escaped after the explosion. It entered the taxi through the exhaust pipe from the sewers and then assumed a physical form. When a passenger entered the cab asking to be taken to the Columbia building on 57th st saying "I'm in a hurry, so let's not dawdle" he took it seriously. The ghost drove like a madman to their destination causing accidents along the way. Can your team stop him?

How it fits: The book is about a serial killer who chops off the left hands of his victims and then uses a cleaver to cut them up. This is my interpretation of a madman.

How it fits: Without giving anything away, there are a few "accidents" that befall some characters in order to get life insurance policies and get rid of people that are in the way, such as falling downstairs, murders by "unknown" people.

How it fits: The main female gets pregnant and the father is a Zombie and she is therefore carrying a zombie baby. She meets and falls in love with a doctor who has the means to help so that she will end up with a healthy non zombie baby.

Vinz Clortho the Keymaster/Zuul the Gatekeeper/Gozer the Destroyer:

Your team has stumbled upon Vinz Clortho the Keymaster & Zuul the Gatekeeper. They are both muttering about someone called Gozer the Destroyer. One of your team sees the Gatekeeper float several feet above her bed. Something strange is happening and it is centered around their apartment building. When other events cause you to lose sight of these two they find their way to each other. Your team heads to the apartment building and up to the top. When you arrive, you see the Gatekeeper and Key master turn into demon hounds. Gozer arrives and your team tries unsuccessfully to negotiate with her. Your team is zapped by Gozer. Can your team take down Gozer and turn her hounds back into humans?

Your team failed to take out Gozer the destructor. The traveler has come. Choose its form. Team members 1,2 & 4 kept their minds blank but team member 3 couldn't. The traveler has taken the form of a hundred-foot Stay Puft Marshmallow Man. Remember that sometimes rules are meant to be broken... so cross those streams! Can you take out the marshmallow man?

If I was scoring this challenge, yes, you would certainly get extra points. Both for doing the original prompt and for not annoying me by insisting that change the challenge because it is too challenging (yes, I have been hearing that lately). Can you tell that I have been getting just a tiny bit annoyed? LOL! I am trying not to be but it's hard lately. Maybe I just need a break.
