Shelby breaks up with Avery because in the middle of their sexual play, he says Sam’s name. Geez. She kicks him out, goes into labor and bars him from the delivery room. And she quits her job. Where do we start?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments Well, this was interesting. I can understand Shelby being very upset about what happened. She was right to put some distance between herself and Avery. As to quitting her job, she was upset and just wanted to go bury herself away from everyone. She'll come back eventually.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1803 comments I am so tired of this storyline! I wish Force would resolve it once and for all.

Shelby was completely justified in all respects. Her anger, kicking him out and quitting were all reasonable. I'm not sure about her returning to work - who wants to work with someone who is the source of her fiance's obsession (even if it is unconscious)?

There is something seriously wrong with Avery's reaction to Sam. He obviously loves Shelby, and he is not a psycho stalker. The psychology here does not make sense.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments Yeah, I did not like his outburst in any way. I did not like it happening just before the baby's birth, and I worry about Scotty if Shelby does not return to work for them.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments This is a stupid story arc from the start. It seems to me Force could have put this to rest before now especially after Shelby and Avery became a couple. What a stupid thing to happen. I don't blame Shelby a bit. It is a shame that Avery came between a strong friendship. She has to know that Sam didn't encourage him.
