Nick’s biological mother, Nicoletta, arranges a tell-all interview with a gossip reporter where she plans to say he was married before (not really). Peter gave a tell-all interview about Sam before his death and one of the things he reveals is Sam’s brief sexual relationship with Archie. First, what should they do about Nicoletta? Can they make her go away for good or neutralize her? Next, what was worse for Sam…Nick finding out or her colleagues?

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments Is there anything Nick or his attorney can do about Nicoletta and her tell-all interview? I don't know if that would raise to the level of libel. And look at our politicians. They lie all of the time and nothing happens to them.

As for Sam, I think her colleagues finding out about her relationship with Archie is worse than Nick finding out. Nick knows that neither of them were virgins when they got together. He didn't ask for specifics about her former relationships and he shouldn't. Sam will hear a lot of gossip about her and Archie. Some of the other cops at work seem to have noticed Farnsworth's preference for Sam. I'm sure some of them are jealous and the gossip will start flying.

Lauren (laurenjberman) | 1801 comments Regarding Nicolette - aside from proving she is a liar, which is obviously considering Nick is the spitting image of his father, there isn't much they can do unless they want to sue her for libel.

As to Sam and Archie -lt will definitely be fodder for gossip around the watercooler. More ammunition for those in the department who resent Sam.

Charlene (charlenethestickler) | 1203 comments Robin and Lauren have hit it right. Especially the watercooler ammo.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I agree with everyone about Nicolette. However, Sam and Archie were before Nick. It doesn't matter as far as I'm concerned. Yes they may talk about it for a few days, but so what. I've seen enough workplace romances that come and go in my time. As long as it doesn't interfere with Archie's or Sam's work performance. besides they are in different departments.
