One Point Tasks
1.1 TRICK -OR- TREAT
Treat yourself to a book you been wanting to read. NO TRICK! 🎃

1.2 CELEBRATE THE AUTHOR: HIM VS HER
This month it's Stephen King VS Ruth Ware
Read a book by one of these authors.

1.3 HALLOWEEN COLORS
Read a book with BLACK/ORANGE cover. (60%+- show cover) -OR- "Read a book with the word BLACK or ORANGE in title.

1.4 BUZZWORD
Buzzword is ONLY
Read a book with the word ONLY in the title.

1.5 READ THE ALPHABET: LETTER J
Read a book that starts with the Letter J (exclude A, An, or The) -OR- Author's FIRST/ LAST name that starts with the Letter J.
BONUS POINT: If the title & Author's FIRST LAST name both with the Letter J.

1.7 (Amber's Task) Family Vacation
October is one of my favorite months but not for the reason as most people. During this month, my family including my Dad, Brother, Aunts, Uncles and Cousin go to the beach for vacation. We always have so much fun and it's super relaxing.

Read a book with a beach scene on the cover (show cover) or where the MC has a family member who is also part of the story.

October 2nd is Name Your Car Day. My car's name is Smurfette. She is a light blue 13 year old hatchback.

Read a book set in an isolated location OR a book of short stories (so the stories can stick together!).

October brings the second half of Hispanic Heritage Month, and a celebration of Indigenous Peoples Day. This is a two-book task.

1. Read a book by an author of Hispanic / Latine or Indigenous Heritage
2. Read a book featuring a character of Hispanic / Latine or Indigenous Heritage

2.4 (Tessa"s Task) Happy Birthday, Paul
Read 2 Books

My nephew's birthday is this month. He's a US Army nurse.

1. Read a book with a speaking character who is a member of the military, current or veteran (any branch, any time frame). Tell us the character's name and military status / branch.

2. Read a book with a speaking character who is a medical professional - Nurse, doctor, dentist, pharmacist, etc. Tell us the character's name and profession.

3. Read a book with a surname in the title e.g. The Last Death of Jack Harbin, Mr. Rosenblum Dreams in English, Astaire: The Man, the Dancer
