Synopsis:

To Snare a Bride . . .

To Gabriel Devine, Duke of Wolverest, the bonds of marriage are nothing more than shackles. But if he's to remain a lifelong bachelor, that leaves only his younger brother to carry on the family name. Inviting the ton's most eligible ladies to an elegant ball, Gabriel is certain any one of them would be all too eager to become the next duchess and provide an heir—leaving Gabriel to continue his ecstatic pursuit of pleasure.

To Catch a Rogue . . .

Her social-climbing stepmother would give anything to have Madelyn Haywood betrothed to a future duke. But Madelyn believes the brothers Devine to be nothing more than heartless rogues—especially Gabriel, whose rakish reputation precedes him. He is nothing more than a slave to passion, and she will not be conquered by his caresses—and yet his wicked ways tempt her so . . .

Happy reading!

Oleander | 263 comments It looks like many members have already read this one a few years ago. Anyone doing a reread? This is next up for me after I finish current reads.

I have just started this and realized that I, too, must have read it many years ago. Feels predictable...I guess that is why

Clarissa | 45 comments I haven't read this one yet, and I am looking forward to reading it... probably a little later in the month as I am finishing some uni assignments in the next two weeks.

Oleander | 263 comments I'm reading this for the first time and I like the characters. The stepmother is horrible which makes this a little bit like Cinderella. While I suspect that there is going to be a big ball towards the end of the book, there has been a private moment in the ballroom already that I enjoyed very much.

Oleander | 263 comments Well, I'm almost done and the book only went downhill. There has been no further character or plot development. At this point, I don't know that I will continue the series.

Merry (jewelhound) | 855 comments Oleander, I was on the fence on this one but as usual I had a million library books all come in at once (this is always my not looking at when I have them coming in to read) But I have to say this plot didn't really grab me. Thanks for the info.
