I have been buying books from the library since 1998. A lot of books that are sold at the libraries are books that have been withdrawn from the library.
Call your library and ask them if they sell books and the price of them. Some libraries might be on the high side, but not the ones I have bought from over the years. When I had forst starting buying books in 1998, paperback books were 10 cents.

I buy physical books at the library and the price depends on which library I go to. The prices for paperbacks: 3/$1.00, 5/$1.00 and 50 cents. Hardbacks: $1.00.
I don't buy books to keep them, unless they are really good to me. I donate a lot of books.I love supporting The Friends Of The Library. The money goes towards other library programs.
