Is anyone getting email notifications from this site?

I feel like I'm not getting anything

GoodReads has stopped a lot of the email notifications.

At the same time, a lot of us noticed that the “Notify me when people comment” boxes we had checked for specific discussion threads became unchecked. I think that was inadvertent; you can go back and re-check them, and it seems to stick. But it does mean that a lot of people stopped getting pretty much all of their notifications all at once. And still, checking that box now means you’ll get a notification up in the 🔔 bell icon at the top-right of the GoodReads site. The email notifications are gone, and there’s no indication they’ll ever be coming back.

Quite a few of us had a lot of threads marked to notify, which sucks. The best way to see what you’ve missed now is probably to go directly to the “Discussions” page for the group.

Thank you Spoko, I was only made aware of this by chance when I noticed a thread in a moderator's support group. It's not a change that has gone down well in the community. I will operate as normal and hope that our active members will continue.
