Dewey's 24 Hour Read-a-Thon discussion

We will be doing hourly co-moderator sign-ups again for Goodreads, so here is the sign-up thread. I'll check in at least daily to update the hour-assignments with your requested hours.
Responsibilities that come with co-moderating- post an hourly thread with a discussion topic. Try to make sure your question isn't one that has been asked before during THIS event. If you want to look in the Archives folder for inspiration you will find all of the threads from the previous readathons. Participate in the thread you posted, and pop into the other hours' threads too, to help keep the conversations lively.
START TIME: Be sure to know your start time so your thread is available at the start of your hour. We all start at different local times depending on our time zone. Hour 1 for Pacific time zone will be 5am, Mountain time zone 6am, Central time zone 7am, and Eastern time zone 8am. You should be able to find your start time in any time zone converter app or site.

Sign up for one or two hours, and if you can cover additional hours let us know. I'll assign just a couple hours per person at first so everyone gets a fair chance to choose housr they want to host, but it is great to have back-ups and folks who can fill in gaps..

I'll be trying to do all 24 hours again, and I don't have any work shifts or anything this weekend, so go ahead and pick hours you want to cover.

Then I will choose Hour 7 and Hour 20.
