Challenge Corner discussion

October Read-a-thon
It’s Spooky season which is the best time to curl up with a book and a blanket, and maybe even a hot drink! Together we are going to fill the Challenge Corner Trick-or-Treat bowl with as many different treats as we can.

This will start on October 23rd (starting at your midnight time zone) and will end on October 31st (ending at your midnight time zone).



How to add treats to the bowl:

Every time you FINISH a book, you will need to make a completion post like so:

Completion Post

Treat: Blueberry Sour Strings. Page 33 “While I attacked blueberry sour strings…”

While figuring out what treat you are adding to the bowl you can do the following:
1. Using any object(s) on the cover (any edition works)
2. Using the letters in title, series title, and/or author first/last name (in any order)
3. Finding the word in text (please state location and passage)
4. Using the color of the cover (if applicable - for example, orange cover could work for orange(s). Must be 75%)

You can use a mixture of the following to add a treat as well. For example, if you wanted to use Green Apple for you can use the cover color (if it’s 75% green) and ‘apple’ in text (if you find it within the book). You can be as generic or as specific as you’d like (i.e. Candy/Chips or Snickers/Hershey’s Kisses)

What you need to do in order to participate:
Step 1 - Sign up on this thread!
Step 2 - Post your books when completed!
Step 3 - Have fun and read lots of good books!

Anyone is welcome to join! Unlike the other challenges, reviews are not required to participate in the read-a-thon.
