Lamilla | 818 comments Which book series have you started during the readathon? Any series you continued or even read the last book? Please share

Kate | 643 comments Hi Lamilla, I've been reading The Vampire Lestat which is book 2 by Anne Rice. Its slow going and not a book for late night!
The other book I'm reading from a series is Eric by Terry Pratchett. Its #9 in the DiscWorld series but I don't read them in any order.

Cathy (cathepsut) | 567 comments I started The Quantum Curators and the Fabergé Egg, which is #1 of The Quantum Curators. There is 5 books in total. Not sure yet if I will continue. The first one was included with my Audible subscription. I like the book, but I am not head over heels. So I might continue if I get it for free somewhere, I‘ll see.

I've been working my way through the Mr Campion series by Margery Allingham. I finished 5, and will be halfway through a sixth book in the series by the end of Hour 24. There are over 20 books, and I'm listening to book 15 now.

I also like Discworld, Kate! I usually consider sub-series (Witches, Death) as series

I like the title! It reminds me the last time I visited Faberge museum, was an excellent experience

That's quite a long series, Jamie!

Taya Fosmire (bibliotaya) | 41 comments Seeing that I woke up an hour before the readathon started, I think I’m going to have to end here guys. I’ve officially be awake 24 hrs if you don’t count my 20 minute accidental nap 2 hours ago 🙈

I’m really pleased with myself for making it this far. I completed the goal I came into this with and that was to finish 2 books. I read 2 start to finish. And I finished an audiobook. I even started another book!!

I filmed my entire day for a YouTube video that I hope to publish in the next two weeks. Please consider checking out my channel which is linked here https://youtube.com/@nowaycrochet?si=...

Thank you to Jaimie and Cynda for hosting the day and allowing us to participate with you. Hope to do it again next time (:

That's great progress! I hope you have a good rest.

Katherine Hayward Pérez | 61 comments No series, but I was interested in this thread to find out what books other people have. Thanks for the thread about book series. It's a good idea. I might focus on books from a series next time.

I have "read a book from a series" on my bingo card for this readathon, Katherine! :D

message 12: by Nona (new)

Nona | 138 comments None, I only read standalones this time.

Which is funny because at one point, I was thinking I'd use this readathon specifically to finish off some series. That didn't work out but maybe next time!

Next time for sure, Nona!
