New Process for R26
This round is going to be a test run. Captains will stamp their team's bingo card upon receiving verification of the team's reviews for each shelf.

Here's how it'll work:
✤ As per usual, I will post an image of your blank bingo card on your team thread at the beginning of the game
✤ ‼️NEW FOR CAPTAINS:
~ I will provide each captain a link to their team's unique bingo card; Save the link to your card; you'll need it throughout the game
~ When your team has read, rated and reviewed their books for a called shelf, submit a request to stamp your team's card on the Request-to-Stamp thread, as you've always done
~ This time, once we've verified your team's RRR's, we'll give you a "verified & ok to stamp" stamp; once rec'd, you may stamp your team's bingo card using the link you saved to your team's unique card
~ Once you've stamped your card, pop over to the Captain's Log thread to share your team name and # along with a link to your updated card

❰ Everything else will proceed as normal throughout the game. ❱

How to Navigate the Bingo Card Link
✤ When you click on the link you will see your team's unique card populated with the images used to represent each of the 15 shelves + 1 free space
✤ SAVE THE LINK to your card, you'll need it throughout the game (a pop-up will remind you to save it)
✤ The ≡ at the bottom righthand corner holds the menu of options for your card: Info, Share, Print, New, Clear. You will likely only use Print or Clear; Clear will erase all the stamps on your card, but a warning will pop-up alerting you if you hit it in error
✤ When you're ready to stamp your card, simply click in the appropriate square and an X will appear and remain unless 'Clear' is used

Friendly reminder, GR unchecked all "notify me when people comment" and no longer defaults to having that box checked. So, please be sure to check it on all bingo threads (especially your team's thread) you want to keep up with throughout the game. If you need any help, let one of us know.

I almost missed this!! GR is driving me crazy with the notification changes. Can’t wait to play!

I can never find this until after I ask, but what is the page minimum for this one? I know it is different than most of my other challenges, but I can never find it.

I usually get asked that question most rounds of Bingo, which should've meant I figured that out already :D

All books must be 200 or more pages. Graphic novels are not allowed. Since our group focus is on PNR & UF series reads, I'd prefer to keep it to books of that nature, but it's not a requirement. Re-reads are allowed once throughout the entirety of the game. Anthologies, should they fit the category or shelf, are allowed.

Hey y'all! We currently have several MIA players scattered throughout different teams. Those teams missing a player were randomized to determine which would potentially receive a standby player and which would continue on as a two-player team. As of now, T3 is a two-player team.

If the missing player for any team shows up, depending on whether or not their team has been assigned a standby player, they may return to their team or go onto the standby player list.

Determining factors
> If a missing player checks in and no standby player has filled their place, they may continue on with the team they were assigned
> Conversely, if they check in and their team now has a standby player, the previously MIA player will be offered a spot on the standby list or fill an existing vacancy

Additionally, should any two-player team lose another player, the mods will smoosh the remaining player onto an existing 3-person team or fill an existing vacancy, at our discretion, for the remainder of the game.

Is there a spreadsheet this round? I love the pictures, but I want to make sure I'm identifying the correct square when I stamp it.

Is it just my imagination, or was this Bingo shorter than usual?

It was shorter b/c we did a 4x4 vs 5x5 board. I was worried we'd lose some to the holiday chaos. We'll host a regular sized board round next :)

Too short, definitely too short ;-)

It's always too short since I love our BSB 🥰 but to be honest, perfect timing to end it, as with Christmas next week, not sure if many people would have had time to read another shelf. I know I have a lot less time at least.

And with that, happy holidays everyone! I hope you can spend it just the way you want, with family or in a bubble of peace and quiet (I know what I would choose lol). Enjoy! 🤶🎄
