I hope all is well. The November BOTM is Wives and Daughters. This book is 644 pages; therefore, we will read it for November and December. A suggested reading schedule to follow:

I started this book yesterday. It is a quick read. I am on Chapter 12. It is more interesting than I thought. Enjoy Reading, 📚

This book becomes more intriguing. Molly is facing the realities of live from her sheltered childhood. The Squire is facing the realities of his first-born. Mr. Gibson is finding out the real nature of his second wife. A good read.

Mrs. Gibson is a hard pill, but I feel she is constantly in social survival mode. If she was from this time, I could see her as a overly persistent sales rep.

I am also keeping up with the schedule and am also enjoying this read. I was hoping this was not turning into a Cinderella story but now that Cynthia has returned, we are seeing that she also is treated as a pawn for her mother to use to make herself the center of attention with little regard to others. Probably from being widowed and left to fend for herself but let's hope she learns to be less selfish and help her daughters with the abilities Mr. Gibson has provided.

I am on schedule..... What information about Cynthia does Mr. Preston have that no one else knows? Osborne Hamley is very selfish? Roger Hamley is too nice of a gentleman? Mrs. Gibson has serious problems about status....She is getting worse. Enjoy Reading, 📚

I finished also and enjoyed this more than I thought I would. Even though I knew about her death before finishing I was somehow surprised when the end came. I must have just got into the story and forgot. lol
