Our final official readathon for 2024 has wrapped up and we have about 5 whole months before the next one! Whatever shall we do?!!! Well, here is a reading game to carry us through all the way to our first 2025 event. Over the next 5 months we will be armchair traveling. But, we're travelling in alphabetical order, more or less. November- A, B, C, D December- E, F, G, H, I, J January- K, L, M, N, O February- P, Q, R, S, T March- U, V, W, X, Y, Z
The goal is not to read a book for each letter, and this is a group effort, so you do not have to read a book from every country. For the month of November, if you read a book set in a country starting with A, B, C, or D, let us know what you are reading, and whether you recommend it. During this month see how many books you can read set in these countries, or written by an author who comes from, or lives in these countries. We'll have a separate topic for each month, so if you read books that fir the November letters later in the game, definitely add them to the November comments. And, if you know of books that fit later months' letters, let us know. You can set personal goals (read a book for each continent, or from 10, 15, 30+, etc countries, or whatever works for you) but officially this is a casual reading game that may generate quite excellent lists of interesting books And, these lists MIGHT be useful for the 2025 readathon bingo boards.
