I have read these already, I am propably not going to reread these

I was already planning to re-read them before the new one comes out. If I do one a month, I'll finish my re-read in February, and then I'll be ready when the new one releases in March. :)

Yeah, I planned that out when I found out about the new one. :)

i had previously read this one but since then, i had my emergency life saving double lung transplant which required me to be in a lot of comas as well as 19 days of ecmo.

because of these things, i had to relearn EVERYTHING. how to walk, how to take, holding my bladder, movement of my extremities, how to swallow food, how to move my head, EVERYTHING — basically was a toddler in a 27yr old’s body!

i’m so glad i reread this. my memory isn’t very dependable for some things.. including books i’ve read pre-transplant.

thank you to the group for helping me check this much needed reread off of my list!

i’ve watched the movies for the books i’ve finally read and again, the book IS SO MUCH BETTER!

although i loved who they casted as cinna 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

I've now read 7 chapters. :)

I had almost forgotten how enjoyable this book it.

unfortunately I watched the movie before reading the book. and it's a good thing that i don't remember anything about it except the pace was incredibly slow for me and that's why i didn't like it. but reading the book i don't have any issues with anything. The story is so well written, step by step we see more of the world and people and lifestyle and getting into main event. I've finished chapter 8 and I can say this book is a really good example of dystopian fiction.

lina — i saw the movie before i read the book and completely forgot the details of the movie! it felt like there wasn’t clear connections between things i felt were important.

i was right lol glad to have finally read the book thanks to this group! my husband was probably annoyed as i pointed out things that ‘didn’t happen that way’ & ‘holy crap they left a lot of things out’! 😂

but he had seen the movie many times and has a wildly accurate memory..

if you’re up for it, i enjoyed watching the movie after i finally read the book!!

(i also did this after ‘the princess bride’ ‘wizard of oz’ and will do the same after i finish ‘the notebook’, etc.)

@Hannah yes, I will definitely rewatch the movie after finishing the book. But there are so many series unfinished or still on my TBR that I'm not sure how I will handle reading the rest of the Hunger Games

lina — i saw someone else say (above) that they had a plan on how to read them in a way that by the time the new book comes out, they will have finished what is currently out! maybe one a month until it comes out in i believe february if i’m remembering correctly??

i also have a tbr list that never ends 🥲 i literally feel a fomo about not being able to read every book in my lifetime 😭 but also extremely excited to see what i can explore and learn to love!! that’s why i join groups like this to help motivate me to try out new writers, styles, etc!

doing it for a cause (house points) has (so far) helped me out of a previous slump!!

@hannah - I'm such a slow reader (I guess mostly because English is not my native language) that I'm very disappointed in my reading. I became active last month and finding this group is such a great motivation! House points are really making me want to read more. Also I don't really have any readers around me, so I chat with GPT about books to get even more support :D

I will try to read a book a month!!! Thanks for the information, I didn't even know that a new book is coming out soon.

Yeah, one a month starting this month, and the new one come out in March.
