I have heard great things about this one, and i think some of our more seasoned thriller readers may have already read it - but if you haven't then please join me because i think it's going to be good!

One dark evening in New York City, two strangers meet by chance.
Over drinks, Amanda and Wendy realise they have so much in common.
And they both desperately want revenge against the two men who destroyed their families.
If you kill for me, I'll kill for you...
They both feel alone. They both drink alone.
Together, they have the perfect plan.

Haley | 33 comments Okay WOAH. don’t read this unless you’re done

Billy being the blue eyed killer blew my whole mind and I didn’t even realize Ruth was Wendy until Steve told us. Wow. One of the best books I’ve read. 5/5 stars. Mind blowing.

Ok I’ve finally finished - this was a good book but defo not my favourite (3/5 - Hayley girl our tastes are the opposite 😂)

I did predict that Wendy was Ruth before it was revealed but the ending with Billy and his contact lenses took me by surprise 😂

Did anyone think for a moment that Ruth was just hallucinating that Billy was the blue eyed killer? It wasn’t until the letter at the end that I was like oh ok she’s finally not lying 😭

Haley | 33 comments 100% if they wouldn’t have done that letter at the end I thought she was just crazy 🤣

& booooo I loved this one.

pandapretzel | 5 comments Just finished this and I loved it! Have you guys read The Kind Worth Killing? Pretty similar concept.

I did not predict Ruth being Wendy/Naomi at all. I thought the time twist was really clever and unique. I was like "wait what??" I also thought the Billy twist was great too. I'm so happy he killed Crone at the end! I do wish we got more info on why Billy tried to kill Ruth though.

I didn't feel like the Detective (forgot his name) chapters were really necessary IMO.. I could maybe say the same about Scott's chapters too. I feel like just doing Ruth and Amanda POVs was good enough.

No I haven’t read ‘The Kind worth Killing’ - is it worth the read??😄

Agreed on the detective character chapters point! The fact I can’t remember what happens in any of them tells me they probably were not needed.

pandapretzel | 5 comments I think it's definitely worth the read! I read it a few years ago, but remember it being one of my all-time favorites.
