Sam begins feeling hormonal and believes she may be pregnant. This would be her sixth pregnancy. Did you think she was or it was something else?

Sam keeps getting her hopes up and having them dashed.
I think it was wishful thinking on her part.

She had some symptoms that could have been pregnancy or not. I'm not sure I want her to be pregnant after she failed to take care during the last time. I haven't seen anything that makes me think she would behave any differently this time.

Good point, Anita. Sam isn't the type to stay behind a desk and make sure she has a relatively safe pregnancy. She'd be out in the middle of the action.

I thought it would be a negative pregnancy test. I agree that Sam doesn't know how to protect her unborn child.

I disagree, Sharon. She knows how to protect an unborn child, she just doesn't want the pregnancy to hinder her higher calling.

You're right. When push comes to shove, she cares more about her job than her unborn child.
