Just want to make sure that this book would work:
From the main page: "In a story that sweeps from the glittering ballrooms of Saint Petersburg to the wilds of Scotland,... "

Sounds like it fits to me.

Sounds like it fits to me.

Will these genres fit this task if the countries are fictional on some planet, etc? Or if the setting includes a couple different planets (one of which may be Earth/Terra?
An affirmative will make this one much easier for me; actually, if these don't count it will also help by narrowing my search!
No to planets, yes to fictional countries within the same world. For example, Ten Out of Ten would be acceptable (set both in the US and the fictional European country Genovia).
Fictional countries will probably require a reference though to confirm they're countries within the text, as they don't tend to show up in the metadata so often.

The Book of Lost Names
No requirement about how much of the book should be set in what country, correct?

No, no percentage requirement for this one. That book looks like it works.

The Wye Valley AONB (AHNE Dyffryn Gwy in Welsh) is an unusual region in that it is the only Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to cross national borders within the UK, starting just south of Hereford in England and following the River Wye down to Chepstow in Wales. It's an administrative challenge when it comes to co-ordinating conservation efforts, requiring teams from both countries to agree on how best to protect the area in line with their respective national guidance.
Read a book which is set in at least two countries. For the purposes of this task, we will consider the constituent nations of the UK (England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) to be distinct countries.
Required: If the locations are not evident in the book description or the GR metadata, provide a reference.
