On my TBR and I'm so exited to read it.

“Christmas Tree Farm” by Taylor
then read
“Christmas with a Crank”
it’s a childhood friends to lovers, grump-sunshine, second chance trope. The girl, Olive, is hired to plan an event for her childhood friend, Liam, and his family. Liam’s family own a Christmas Tree Farm and his family is planning on selling it. They hired her so she could make it the best last Pine Creek Christmas. Pine Creek is the name of the farm.
Liam doesn’t see the magic of the farm and Olive is determined to make him fall in love with it again.
It’s also a slow burn.

People We Meet On Vacation!

The series "Kingdom of the Wicked" is really good. The first book is a little slow, but the second and third are fast.
It's about Emilia trying to figure out who and why her twin sister was killed. They're Stregas, so Emilia is trying to figure out of someone killed Vittoria because they found out shes a Strega, or if it's something else...
Emilia summons a demon to help her, but she ends up summoning the Prince of Wrath.
Throughout the series, Emilia struggles with her growing feelings for Wrath.
The lyric:
"I keep recalling things we never did/Messy top lip kiss/How I long for our tryst/Without ever touching his skin how can I be guilty as sin?"
basically sums up how she feels about him.
The lyric:
"What if the way you hold me/Is actually what's holy?/If long suffering propriety/Is what they want from me/They don't know how you've haunted me/So stunningly/I choose you and me/...Religiously"
This lyric is how Wrath feels about Emilia.
THERE IS ALSO A SPIN OFF SERIES.
There is one book per Prince. Right now, there's Envy and Gluttony. They're amazing as well. And you get to see the other characters from KOTW.
1) Envy: Throne of the Fallen
2) Gluttony: Throne of Secrets
This is a romantasy, obviously, but it's definitely worth reading. <3

Daughter of the Pirate King feels like Seven.
It's a two part series where Alosa is sent on a mission by her father, the Pirate King, to get an ancient hidden map.
She purposefully and deliberately allows herself to get captured by her enemies, planning to search their ship.
However, she finds herself falling for Riden, the enemy's First Mate, and vice versa.
This book does NOT contain dark romance. She's kind of free to roam the ship, with boundaries.
THIS IS NOT A SPOILER
As the book goes on, Riden notices that Alosa has scars all over her body. She simply replies with "I'm the Pirate Kings' daughter. What did you expect?" Her father would have her train brutal ways, cutting her, stabbing her, and torturing her. This scene is very "who did this to you?" without Riden saying it.
The lyric:
"And I've been meaning to tell you/I think your house is haunted/Your dad is always mad and that must be why/And I think you should come live with/Me and we can be pirates/Then you won't have to cry/Or hide in the closet/And just like a folk song/Our love will be passed on"
This is Ridens reaction to hearing that Alosa's father is cruel to her.
The lyric:
"Love you to the moon and to Saturn"
This is how they feel; about each other, but won't admit it.

My Tears Ricochet - All That We Never Were by Alice Kellen
2 part series
Leah, a 19 year old, is recovering from the death of her parents. Oliver, her older brother, has to transfer to Sydney, Australia in order to provide for both her and him, leaving her in Byron Bay with his best friend, Axel.
She moves in with Axel and plans to just live out her life doing nothing. She has to finish her Senior year of high school because she stopped going when her parents died the year prior.
Axel has known Leah since childhood, so seeing her so devastated, depressed, and broken hearted feels like someone punched him.
Axel is determined to make her happy and smile.
He soon learns that Leah is in love with him and has been in love with him her whole life.
Axel ends up falling for Leah, betraying Oliver's trust.
The first one leaves off with a sort-of cliff hanger. It ends in heart break and sadness.
The second one is Axel trying to have a second chance with Leah.
FOR THE FIRST BOOK:
The lyric:
"And I can go anywhere I want/Anywhere I want, just not home"
This is how she feels about her parents death. She feels like she doesn't have a home anymore.
"And I still talk to you/When I'm screaming at the sky/And when you can't sleep at night/You hear my stolen lullaby"
Leah finds herself kind of talking to her parents in her head and sometimes out loud. She often can't sleep, wracked with grief, so she plays a song that makes her feel connected to them.
THE SECOND BOOK;
"I didn't have it in myself to go with grace/And so the battleships will sink beneath the waves/You had to kill me, but it killed you just the same/Cursing my name, wishing I stayed/You turned into your worst fears/And you're tossing out blame, drunk on this pain/Crossing out the good years/ And you're cursing my name, wishing I stayed/Look at how my tears ricochet"
Leah finally thinks she got over Axel and what happened with him, but then he comes back into her life when she's 22 in college. When he "killed her" (dumped her) it "killed him" as well. She basically had to "cross out the good years" with him because she was so broken.
"But you will still miss me in your bones"
Axel often thinks about Leah, missing her and wishing her fought for her.

A trilogy series. There is a series most people recommend reading before you read this series. It's called the Caraval series. However, you can read the OUABH series without ever reading the Caraval series.
Lyrics:
"A heart is draw around your name/In someone's handwriting, not mine"
Eva sees that "(name I won't spoil) + Jacks" is carved in wood.
"Your past and mine are parallel lines/Stars all aligned, and they intertwined"
There is a memory loss trope, but not in the way you think...
"Crying in the bathroom for some dude/Whose name I cannot remember now/Secret jokes, all alone/No one's home, 16 and wild/We're breaking up, making up/Leave without saying goodbye"
Luc (her ex) and Eva. Basically her saying that she did all this stuff with Luc but they ended up having to say goodbye.
"All of the girls you loved before/Made you the one I'm fallen for/Every dead-end street led you straight to me/Now you're all I need/I'm so thankful for/All of the girls you loved before/But I love you more"
Sums up the EvaJacks ship. This is exactly how Eva feels about Jacks. If you replace the "she", "her", and "girls" in this song with "he, him, boys" then it's how Jacks feels bout Eva. All of the BOYS she loved before never loved her more than Jacks does.

A kind of instant love book. I don't usually read instant love books, but I have a spinning wheel online that has all of Taylor's songs. When I finish a book, I re-spin the wheel and read a book based on the song it picked.
