yeah, he's from KC. and he is not exactly funny, but not unfunny either. I'll explain it better tomorrow :)
Hello, campers!!
Today we are going to answer the most difficult question in the whole Riordanverse, which male narrator is the best. Leaving all bias aside, I'll analyse their behaviour as narrators and choose who is objectively the best narrator, and then I'll say who I think is the best. This is spoiler free, so read without worries.
Accuracy
Out of the three, Carter tells the story with the best accuracy, because while he still doesn't really understand what's going on, he's still better at explaining than Magnus and more self-aware than Percy. Percy is not self-aware.
Humour
There is only one right answer, and that is Magnus. Sorry, Persassy, but Beantown is the winner in this category. While Magnus has a pessimistic view on the world, he still pokes fun at every event, no matter how traumatising it is.
And Carter, well, he wasn't even nominated in this category. Out of all the narrators in the Riordanverse, Carter is the most serious one. Yes, he does joke sometimes, but he isn't even the funniest narrator in the KC (Sadie takes the crown). Of course, that is because his seriousness is rooted in his childhood and r@c!sm, but that is a talk for another day (a deep dive solely on Carter).
Who is the most iconic?
Of course, that would be Percy Pay-Your-Child-Support Jackson. His optimistic viewpoint and his sass make him stand out in not only the Riordanverse, but in the literary world in general.
Who is the best narrator?
From an objective point of view, Carter is the best narrator as he manages to tell the story best, without leaving out too many details and it is easy for the reader to emphasise with him.
From a subjective point of view, Magnus is the best narrator beacause he is self-aware and very funny.
I still love you, Percy.
This is not as good as the other deep dives, but whenever I went into more detail, I ended up having to delete the paragraph as I kept on spoiling and this is spoiler free . I'll see you soon with Ana vs Sadie!

I may also like Magnus cause he was bullied for being a nerd and I am bullied for being a nerd
@lowri YOU SHOULDDDD what makes magnus funnier than percy is that he is a very pessimistic person (as opposed to percy) and he makes fun of literally every bad situation he's in, so kinda 24/7. also, jack and magnus are the most iconic duo in the whole riordanverse
ahh, I am so excited for you!!

@Noah, thank you! The Kane Chronicles are so underrated!
