Did i just read my first smut and like it? I read The Coven and The Curse and loved them, then i saw a booktoker say that they were smut books. I never thought i was into that genre? Is it a genre? Anyway, are they smut reads? If so i need more.

I just started getting into smut but god I love it

my sis let me read Hideaway, book two of devils night, by penelope douglas, and thats a pretty good smut, i didnt read the first one, but based on the context clues, it wasnt difficult to figure out what happened in the first one
there was this other one i read but i dont remember what its called ngl, if i remember ill tell

icebreaker was ok but there were a lot of smut scenes

Smut can be fun to read and fantasize about up to a point. Also, it can be incorporated into a metaphor for larger not-so-smutty things. I think of a religious book that has such passages in it. ; )

In the end, it is YOUR interpretation that matters most.

That's awesome that you found a new genre to read. There's lots of diferent types within the genre, light, dark, bdsm, role play, revenge etc.

Fantasy:
~From Blood and Ash- Jennifer L Armentrout. 1st book is the best, but the series is pretty good.
~A Court of Rose and Thorns- Sarah J Mass. I loooved the first book and own the entire series...planning to read them in the new year.

Olympian:
Neon Gods series- Katee Roberts. Fantastic series. There's only been a couple of books I didn't care for, but the overall storyline is addictive.
A Touch of Darkness- Scarlett St. Clair. OMG! I LOOOVE THIS SERIES. Read the og series first and then read Hades view of everything...omg I love that God.

Paranormal:
Her Soul to Take Trilogy by Harley Leroux. FANTASIC! The 1st book you may hate the main character but the other two books make up for it.
King of Battle and Blood series- Scarlett St. Clair. I read this book 2 times in a row...I just love it. Huge fan of St. Clair.

Dark:
~Haunting and Hunting Adeline H.D Carlton. Please read the warnings, especially in the second book before reading.
~Does It Hurt- H.D. Carlton. Storyline is good, relationship between the main characters I could have lived without.

Light:
~Birthday Girl- Penelope Douglas. Great story and good slow burn.
~Ice Planet Barbarians- Ruby Dixon. Just read for the fun smut, storyline is meh.

Other:
Hooked- Emily McIntire. It was ok...but I'm planning to read more of the series.

I would also say icebreaker is a good choice but if you want something christmasy with smut i would recommend smt i just read called Tis the season of revenge 💗
