The Ron Howard book looks interesting. I'm still hoping to start my first book by Osman... Good luck

Lea (leaspot) | 3629 comments I've read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, and The Plot, and thought both were great. Evelyn Hugo was my favorite of the two, but I hope you enjoy both.

I have high hopes of reading Swan Song this year also. Fingers crossed.

Best wishes, Denise!

I've only read Evelyn Hugo which I loved

message 11: by Linette (new)

Linette | 172 comments Nice list!
Seven Husbands was a whole vibe of its own, kept my attention.
I really enjoyed Wishing Game and We Solve Murders - Steve is a man after my own heart, lol.
I'm also planning to read The Author's Guide, and The Plot.
Good luck!

Bonnie | 705 comments Fun list. I loved The Seven Husbands... even though I hadn't expected to from the title.

Denise (drams5) | 323 comments We have similar names and similar reading tastes. I liked The Celebrants and We Solve Murders (it took a bit for me to get into it, but hang in there!) I read The Hitchcock Hotel this year, too. It was odd. You have to expect that from a Hitchcock themed book though, right?

Thanks Denise. Not only do we share the same name but we also seem to be twins when it comes to reading also!

Denise (derickert) | 1268 comments Completed 1st book from this list The Author's Guide to Murder by Beatriz Williams , gave it 4 stars.
I had a hard time getting into this book. The plot was good, but the story jumped around between characters in a confusing way. Once the story got to the murder solving part, it came to life and kept me reading.

message 25: by Denise (new)

Denise (derickert) | 1268 comments Completed my second book from this challenge. We Solve Murders (We Solve Murders, #1) by Richard Osman , gave it 4 stars. Enjoyed this book, was a little slow off to start but it all came together in the end.

message 26: by Denise (new)

Denise (derickert) | 1268 comments Completed my third book, The Hitchcock Hotel by Stephanie Wrobel , gave it 4 stars. Really enjoyed the book, started off a little slow, but the ending really did it for me. Totally didn't see it coming.

Look forward to reading this (though I want to read a few other of her books first); glad to hear the high praise.

Denise (derickert) | 1268 comments Finished Eruption by Michael Crichton , gave it 4 stars. Good story, don't think I have ever read a James Patterson book that I didn't like.

message 33: by Denise (new)

Denise (derickert) | 1268 comments Book #6 completed. The Idea of You by Robinne Lee , gave it 4 stars. Also watched the movie, but enjoyed the book more. The movie seemed to leave out a lot of the actual story.

message 34: by Denise (new)

Denise (derickert) | 1268 comments Book #7 completed What Does It Feel Like? by Sophie Kinsella , gave it 4 stars. Enjoyed the story and the characters.
