I have read a few of your authors, but not the books. Good luck with them. I look forward to your thoughts as you start 2025.

Thanks Bill. I have been building this list as the audible books have come up with 2 for 1 specials.

Great list. I have these authors but not these works by them, so, definitely intrigued.

Good luck and happy reading

Lea (leaspot) | 3629 comments I own some of the books in the Hawthorne & Horowitz series, but haven't gotten to that series yet.

I've read Sea of Tranquility and Final Girls. But I'm most excited about your other books, many of which I'd love to see win the GRC Awards so I'll be even more motivated than I already am to read them. Fingers crossed!

Best wishes on your choices - looks like you've gotten some good books through the audible specials! :-)

Lindsey Gandhi (lindseygandhi) | 1227 comments I really need to get into audiobooks. I have a long drive this year with where my son's new school is. I've read The Paris Apartment and Darling Rose Gold - both good books! I love anything by Riley Sager, though I haven't read Final Girls. Murder Road and Funny Story are on my lists too.

Good luck with your challenge!

Jackie | 1103 comments I am doing an audible challenge this year, too. Since I don't have a work commute, I miss listening to someone read to me. Happy listening!

Denise (derickert) | 1268 comments Finished my first one. Holmes, Marple & Poe (Holmes, Margaret & Poe #1) by James Patterson , gave it 4 stars.
I was intrigued by the premise of this book, as the three main characters resemble some of the greatest mystery solvers. The story was good overall, but it seemed like there were too many investigations going on at the same time, and the story got confusing at times. I enjoyed it enough that I will continue with this series.

Congrats on knocking out the first book, Denise! Patterson always has very readable books. Glad you enjoyed it.

Hey Denise. Just checking in to see how the audiobooks are going?? How are you feeling about the challenge, so far?

I am so far behind on my reading challenges this year. Work is so hectic that I am utterly exhausted once I get home.

I'm so sorry Denise. I hate that for you. Well, don't forget to take some time for yourself. The books will be there when you get back.

((hugs))
