I am also enamored of your Old and New. I enjoyed watching your French tour and I'm sure to love getting your opinion on these glimpses at real people. Happy reading.

I especially enjoyed the Old & New challenge this year! I have planned a Biography, Autobiography, and..."

I love your A-Z Fantasy authors. This is a genre I am just starting to read. The Hugos are a wonderful resource, but I haven't read any of the winners after 2000 yet. You also have other genre books I loved The Hiding Place: The Triumphant True Story of Corrie Ten Boom and The Call of the Wild / White Fang. Great planning. It looks like a lot of fun.

April | 400 comments Thanks for commenting on my thread earlier. This looks good, fancy! And creative- like using the fantasy genre for your A-Z . Have fun next year!

Shirley (stampartiste) | 1008 comments Oh my goodness, Matt! I want to copy and paste your challenges and selections and use most of them myself. 😄 Just like last year with your emphasis on French authors and works, what outstanding themes you've chosen for 2025. I know you will have a fantastic year!

I have either read or have on my TBR so many of your Old & New selections. I can't wait to see how you enjoy them. By the way, I was looking over your Epic Fantasy list and wondered if you have ever read any Steampunk from the 1980s forward. Several years ago, I read and loved The Anubis Gates by Tim Powers - supposedly the originator of the more recent genre. I keep saying I'm going to try another author/novel, but I haven't really pursued it.

Happy reading in 2025!
