Nominations are open for the February Book of the Month!

The book with the most votes will be the book of the month. I look forward to your suggestions!

Just a friendly reminder that it's always a good idea to look over the guidelines if you've never nominated before.

Feel free to nominate a Christian fiction book of your choosing. Do consider nominating an author that we've not read at least in 2023 or 2024. Please follow the guidelines below and also make sure to nominate a book that released AT LEAST three months ago.

PLEASE REVIEW THESE GUIDELINES:
-Please do not nominate a book we've already read as a group in the last three years. You will be asked for a different nomination if you do. Find our shelves here:

2025: To be added
2024: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...
2023: https://www.goodreads.com/group/books...

-Any author is up for nomination, as long as the book you nominate has not been a group read during 2022-2024, however, try not to nominate an author that we've read this year already. Self nominations are not allowed.

-If it is a book in a series that is not the first book, make sure you know that it can be read as a standalone and doesn't require the previous books being read to understand and enjoy.

-Please note that there may be more reasons that a book is not a good fit for nominations or group members as a whole, whether it be availability, cost, accessibility, etc. The moderators reserve the right to make these decisions. Please know we do our best in making these kinds of decisions, and we're all human. Your patience is appreciated. Thank you for your understanding! :)

Nominations will be open through December 15.

The Key to Love by Betsy St. Amant Fall Back and Find Me by Sarah Hanks Good Gifts A Christian small-town romance Series Brenner Falls (Brenner Falls Series Book 1) by Kyle Hunter The Broken Hearts Bakery (Haven Ridge #1) by Carla Laureano

Simone (simonec75) | 314 comments Can I nominate a new release? The book comes out on February 4. If I can nominate it, I'll choose this one: Guilty Until Innocent A Novel by Robert Whitlow
If not, then I'll choose another one.

Simone, books must be out at least three months before the month we'll be reading it, so the latest February 2025's reads could be released is November 2024.

I thought I'd need to sit this one out, as it's not published by one of the main publishers my library buys from . . . but, I looked, and it's on hoopla, surprise, surprise! I know that Carla Laureano's on my radar, but I don't think I've actually read any of her work as yet!

Whoa, now there's a question I'd not expected. But the answer is none. As a Christian reading group, we read clean, Christian focused novels, of which this one is.
