The Chemist question

i dont know why stephenie meyer hasnt written books like this anymore. she wrote the host and the chemist and both novels were game changers. i dont think twilight is bad i actually like life and death but i dont know why stephenie meyer spending so much time with twilight saga when she can write books like the chemist and the host.
