It’s time for the next Monthly Reading Wrap Up! This Month I Read…
Business Casual by B.K. Borison- I loved this one so much. My favorite in the series besides the first. I especially loved Charlie’s character. There was something about him I really connected with. There is something just really special about this series too. They all are like little happy Hallmark movie serotonin boost, one for each season. I’m sad the series the over, but I’ll definitely visit Inglewild and Lovelight Farms again.
Heartbreak Is the National Anthem: How Taylor Swift Reinvented Pop Music by Rob Sheffield- I wanted a quick audiobook listen for my Thanksgiving travel and came across this one. I consider myself a pretty big Taylor fan so I decided to give it a try. I didn’t love it, but didn’t hate it either. I didn’t learn any new information and it felt more like it just discussed her career rather than diving deep into how her career has affected the music industry. The end especially seemed disjointed and felt like the author had just a full final non flushed out points he wanted to toss in. It was interesting enough, but if you don’t like Taylor you probably won’t like this book.
