Thanks, Bill! I have so many tomes on my TBR, reading one a month is a real challenge, but it feels good too. I always pick a different book because these are so large and require a strong commitment, but I am enjoying them!

Thanks, Karol. My favorite, so far, is The Demon of Unrest: A Saga of Hubris, Heartbreak, and Heroism at the Dawn of the Civil War. I have a lot of tomes on my TBR, so I'm hoping to keep reading more this year! Still trying for one per month. :-)

Ooooh, Erik Larson! I must return to this author. The only book of his I have read is [book:The Devil in the White City: Murder, Magic, and Madness at the Fair That Changed America
, which was completely gripping. I just read the book description for The Demon of Unrest and it does sound very good indeed.
