On The Same Page discussion

I will commit to reading 5 tomes (500+ pages). Some may be books that I started in previous years but that I still have at least 500 pages remaining to read.

I’m working on War and Peace, which is 1271 pages! I think it will take me all year to read it, unless I really pick up the pace.

War and Peace counts as three tomes, I think. It took me a long time to read it also!

Good luck with War and Peace, Pam! I read if a few years ago and it did take a while to get through it. But I found it pretty rewarding. So many interesting character studies within all those pages! And the historical accuracy of Tolstoy's account of the Napoleonic Wars is most amazing (according to some scholars - I'm not a historian so I have to take their word for it!)

Almost done with Shōgun V1 for my first tome this year!
