Possession discussion

New to Goodreads groups and friends stuff because it isn't available on the mobile phone app. I have no idea if anyone will read this. Is anyone else reading this book? I've just started. So what do people think of this book, the settings, the characters, the plot, the poems?

I'm liking it so far, but the Victorian-style prose and poetry while authentic is a bit of a stretch.
