I like this list, Vikki. I'm really glad I read the Six of Crows duology. I want to read Shadow & Bone, so I can get all the background stuff.

Good old Harry Hole. I think I'm on 7 or 8....

Good luck and happy reading!

Crooked Kingdom and Knife were both on last year's list. The problem is there are always new books coming out that catch my eye, or other books in to my TBR pile catch my attention.

So many books and not enough time

I really like your list Vikki. I want to read more of Leigh Bardugo's work and also to get back to Jo Nesbo (it's been too long) I also hope to start Olivie Blake this year. Enjoy 2025!

Yeah, new and shiny books, are so awesome. The pretty covers... aahhh. Especially when I pass by my shelves and forget about a book that I had, then all of a sudden, I just have to read it. 😩

Lea (leaspot) | 3629 comments I love this list. I've been hoping to read a book by Weir for a while now, can never seem to squeeze on onto my list. Maybe next year? I've read Malibu Rising, A Court of Silver Flames and Crooked Kingdom. Best of luck with your list! :-)

1st book finished - The Palace Papers. It's been on my to-read list since it was published in 2022. It was an interesting read, talking about many of the senior Royals. It doesn't focus specifically on one person or couple.

2nd book finished - The Wilds.
3rd book in the Elin Warner series. Whilst I did enjoy it, I definitely preferred the previous 2 books. Even though it was my least favourite of the series it was still a solid 4 stars.

4th book finished, so I've now completed the Harbinder Kaur series by Elly Griffiths. Whilst I still prefer the Ruth Galloway books, this is a great series and I've enjoyed all 4 books so far. Definitely worth a read and I'll happily read any future books in the series.

I enjoyed both of these series as well. Glad to see she's starting a new one.

Lillie | 1673 comments Love the variety on your list! A little bit of non-fiction, a bit mystery, romance, etc. :)

I'm going to add to Harry Hole lovefest. Knife was fantastic. Just wish the author would write more cause I'm greedy that way

Half way through now!
Malibu Rising finished. Another book by Taylor Jenkins Reid that I read in a few days. The mix of past and present worked well as did the gradually progression of the party day. I could totally imagine the scene of the party with all the rich and famous.
5 stars from me.

7th book finished - Estella's Revenge
It's a take on Great Expectations told from Estella's perspective. It's probably helpful if someone has read Great Expectations or is at least familiar with with the story. But not essential. A solid 4 stars from me

Already halfway through! :)

Love finding books that weren't on my radar. Adding this to my list

10th book finished - The Duchess. I enjoyed this book about Wallis Simpson. It was nice to read about someone different, and a different period in Royal historical fiction.

11th book finished - A Court Of Silver Flames
Finally took the plunge with this one and finished the series. Another 5 star read for me.

Patricia | 1136 comments You're making great progress! I haven't heard of either the book on Estella or Wallis Simpson. I'm adding them both to my list.
Happy Reading!
