This will be my first book by Samantha Shannon and I'm pretty excited for it. I've heard great reviews about the world-building especially and I love anything with dragons so I'm looking forward to it.

Chapter 7
(view spoiler)[ I admit I've been pretty bored with the story up until this point. I like seeing Sabran and Ead interact more. And getting to see Loth rather than hear about his character. It's clear he's well-liked and I'm enjoying seeing why. I am liking the West chapters more than the East at this point and I think it's because I haven't really gotten invested in the West characters just yet, but there's still A LOT of book left for that to change.
