Play Book Tag discussion

I really like the Walt Longmire series as narrated by the wonderful George Guidall. In this book there is a frame story that covers a hearing about Walt's actions in the last book. But in between, he tells about the road trip he and Henry took between college graduation and being inducted into the military. Of course they get involved with drug smugglers, buried secrets, gangsters, and historical info. I felt it got way over the top with the number of physical fights and guns in the middle of nowhere. Walt and Henry at their young age are supermen who can take down experienced fighters, figure out how to drive vehicles they've never seen before, and intuit who is telling the truth. They also don't seem to need to sleep or eat. Walt shows an early passion for justice and Henry of course appeals to all the ladies. I felt like it was just too much. The book ends on a cliffhanger in current time, with a report of a missing person.
