Nancy Brady (minesayn) | 202 comments I hope to read/complete 100 books with the goal of reducing books on my shelves and/or on my e-readers. Since I have about 1650 books, I want to read at least 70 books/e-books from my current shelves (and not increase my book count). I also want to read new (to me) authors.

Statistics:
0/100 books
0/70 books from shelves
0/35 e-books from shelves
0/35 physical books
0/40 new authors

Statistics:
6/100 books
3/70 books from shelves
1/35 e-books from shelves
3/30 library books
1/40 new authors

Happy reading in 2025, Nancy!

I like the way you organize your reading goals.

Thanks, Rosemarie. My problem always comes with wanting to reduce the number of books I have on my shelves and still read some of the latest books that I can borrow from the local library. Since the library is only a block or so from my home, I find it hard to resist checking out their shelves.

I used to live a block from a library-it was great. I now live about a 15 minute walk to the library, which means 15 minutes back as well. It's a perfect walk on a nice day.
I love libraries!

Nancy Brady (minesayn) | 202 comments Rosemarie, I love libraries, too. I wanted to be a librarian, but got talked out of it by my parents. I found a career I liked, but after retiring, I volunteered at the library (and do to this day).
