What trauma/dissociation books have you read in 2025?
Take some latitude with what fits in this topic.
Broaden our horizons.
What is the story in a nutshell?
Did you like it?

The Body by Stephen King
The Body by Stephen King Stephen King
The basis of the move Stand By Me, this fictional book is about four 12 year olds who embark on an overnight hiking trip to see a dead body that one boy heard about from his older brother. Deals with some traumatic issues.

CatherineAda Campbell | 37 comments I just started reading Healing Collective Trauma by Thomas Hubl. He writes from an educated, informed perspective on current thinking in trauma treatment, combined with a process he developed for "integrating our intergenerational and cultural wounds." So far I'm enjoying it. In my own book research I had not come across his work, but he cites many of the same experts I did.

I'm nearly finished with Karen Armstrong's Twelve Steps to Compassionate Life and find much solace in recognizing the same compassionate building blocks are similar to what I practice in healing my own trauma.
