Lilky⤵࿙♡ | 8 comments I've heard so much about Colleen Hoover books, both good and bad.
What do you think about her work?
And why?

Audrey | 3 comments Colleen has easy reads, it ends with us was my first book I ever read outside of education and I slowly got into more authors and genres because of her. She may not be the best nor the most politically correct but she started so many ppls reading journeys so I’m happy for her success

Anais☎️ (con_amor_an) | 7 comments I agree with Audrey. I personally dislike her books and that genre, and sometimes I joke about that with my other classic lit friends, but joking about burning her books or making vids lighting them on fire is just repetitive and honestly disrespectful. Burning her books doesn’t make these people elite in a world of uncritical masses that are losing touch with real literature etc, I don’t know why they can’t just bring attention to their own favorite classics instead. “Colleen hate” has become more of a mindset/attitude towards contemporary books rather than genuinely disliking her, which is kind of ironic when these people complain about YA readers hive mind mentality. I genuinely like some “newer” books like Evelyn Hugo (I’m hyped for Atmosphere) and I don’t think such a divided reading community is very good for getting people into books.

Sophie | 8 comments I would agree! I honestly think that it ends with us isn't the worst piece of literature.
Concerning that a lot of people love her and enjoy her novels I personally think it's impolite and rude to overhate her like that. I mean, what did she ever to you?
When it's not your jam, then just don't read / buy it.
There are too many fantastic books out there to do this.
