Cleo’s sister Monique and her husband Robert agreed to take the twins and become their legal guardians. But when they arrive, it’s clear that the twins aren’t connecting. Elijah, who the parents names as their guardian, pulls the plug and sends them packing. In that short time of interaction, what warning signs did you see, if any? Did Elijah have any other choice but to turn them down?

They were in such a rush to grab the kids and go, first sign they didn't really care about the kids. They had previously said they didn't want then and then find out they come with a big payday, so of course, that makes them valuable to them.

Elijah was wise beyond his years to turn them down. I believe if Sam and Nick hadn't offered to care for the twins while he finished school, he would have dropped out to care for them on his own.

It was obvious that they were taking the kids because they came with a load of money. They weren't interested in them until that became clear. I'm glad Elijah was smart enough to realize what was happening and pulled the plug on them taking the twins.
