Sam and Nick offer to keep the twins and become their guardians while Elijah finishes school, which he accepts. He will decide after he graduates what the next step will be. When did you know that Sam would keep these children, or at least want to, permanently? Your thoughts about the wisdom, or lack thereof, of the decision?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I knew from the beginning that Sam would do everything she could to keep the twins. She bonded with them the minute they clung to her in that burned out house. Is it wise - no. But she is determined to make it work and Nick loves her and wants her to be happy.

Robin (robinmy) | 2450 comments From the minute Sam saw those kids, I knew that she was going to take them home with her and try to keep them permanently. If Elijah wasn't in school and had a way to care for the kids, she probably wouldn't say anything. But since Elijah is unable to care for the kids at this time, Sam wanted to make sure they she and Nick became guardians to the kids.
