Play Book Tag discussion

Four young Blackfoot men had been out hunting elk for winter provisions but were having no luck. Suddenly they came upon a herd of elk at the bottom of a ravine but the elk were in a no-hunting area. Hoping they could take what they wanted without being caught, Ricky, Lewis, Cass and Gabe opened fire on the herd bringing down 9 elk. One of the elk was a female who had been injured by the gunfire and Lewis decided to give her a merciful death. It took several bullets to end her life and when Lewis began to field dress her, he noticed she had been pregnant. He quickly buried the unborn calf in the deep snow while the others began to cut what they knew they could fit in the truck from the rest of the dead elk. Waiting at the top of the ravine stood the game warden who forced the men to throw all of the meat back down the steep hill.

The first to die was Ricky. He was sure he saw what looked like a woman with an elk head before he was killed. The Elk Woman was out for revenge and, no matter how long it took, she would get them all. Friends, family, co-workers; none of them mattered to her and she would gladly dispatch them if it got her closer to her goal.

This was quite a horrific tale and an extremely violent one. The plot about a phantom elk seeking revenge is clever but I can't say I was prepared for so much carnage.
