Lila tries to set Josie up by making it seem like she had murdered Ted Heinrich, the man she’d once offered up Josie to for sex. Josie realizes it’s Trinity that was recorded and it’s the first time she realizes their connection. Before this scene, had you any idea the two looked alike? Do you believe there will be repercussions for Tara for being so willing to take the bait and suspend Josie when evidence proved otherwise?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I thought they were related in an earlier book. I didn't think they were sisters, maybe cousins.

Tara is a politician, and repercussions will just slide right off.

I missed the implications from the earlier books or just tossed it as meaningless. This shocked me.

You’re probably right about Tara but I’m hoping at some point her number comes up.

Loverofbooks - Jae' ♒️♍️♑️ (loverofbooks-jae) | 23 comments Yes, I recall book 1 stating that Josie’s scar was the striking difference between her and Trinity, that along w. their similarities described in the book, stuck w. me.

Since Josie and Trinity are identical, I’m guessing she will get some slack. But her lack of trust in Josie can cause a hindrance in future cases if she continues this way.

Sharon Kallenberger Marzola | 3474 comments I found this a little unbelievable. How can you or your friends not see the similarities of an identical twin? I've seen shows about twins who were separated at birth or as young children, and they all said they recognized their twin immediately.

I guess that’s why this surprised me so much. No one ever mentioned their similarity.
