When Josie learns Trinity once had a twin sister, she speaks to Shannon Payne again and starts putting the pieces together, suspecting she is the missing twin that Lila stole from the nursery after setting it on fire. Josie also confronts Lisette who had known all along that she wasn’t Eli’s child. Had you figured any of this out earlier? Did Lisette do the right thing or should she have told Josie once she became of age?

Anita (anitanodiva) | 2953 comments I suspected that there was a lot more to Belinda - Eli - Josie than was ever detailed. Whose child Josie was is one of those murky details. Somehow, I knew Josie wasn't Eli's child, but I felt she wasn't Belinda's either.

If Lisette had told Josie what she knew, it might have changed their relationship. Josie is all Lisette has, and she loves her and didn't want to chance losing her.

Loverofbooks - Jae' ♒️♍️♑️ (loverofbooks-jae) | 23 comments I figured that Josie and Trinity were sisters, I just was not sure of their true birth parents until Josie went to the library and read about the Payne house fire.

I think Lisette did the best thing she could in such a high risk, life threatening, and all the other terms situation. Once Josie got grown, I think Lisette could have told her, but I do not blame her for not. “You are mine” I felt that.
