Oh that's interesting... I really have to reread. I *know* it's my very favorite of his books, but I barely remember it I read it so long ago... I will say though that I've listened to several of his novels on audible and I find it really hard to concentrate and keep up with the story... anyone else experience this? I'm listening to the City and its Uncertain Walls right now, but I think this will be my last audible of HM books...

The only book I really struggled with was "Hardboiled Wonderland". I'm reading 1Q84 for a third time. It's kind of like visiting an old friend.

I really need to reread Hardboiled Wonderland... I don't remember it at all!
