Joe Farnsworth and Jake Malone confront Conklin and he denies ever talking to Frank Davis, the witness at the scene of Skip’s shooting. Did you believe him at the time? If he was lying, do you think he believed they’d stop at his word or was convinced they couldn’t prove him wrong?

I didn't believe him. I also didn't think Joe or Jake would quit looking.

I didn't believe him either. Everyone should have verified everything he said after what he did before. He wanted to think they would take his word, but they were having doubts and Conklin knew that.

He was obviously lying. It was really stupid to do as quite a few people saw him there.

I knew he was lying. I think he thought that no one would be able to prove that he had talked to Frank Davis or took the messenger bag.
