The situation with Frannie is slightly annoying because she’s leading him on and I think he just wants someone familiar so that he’s not lonely.

Chapters 8 - 13

(view spoiler)[ I’m still enjoying the story but not much is happening.

The second thoughts about Winnie’s husband are annoying, but I don’t think they’re going to get to the point where Luke has to kill him so I’m curious how that’s going to be solved. Could Jack do it?

Luke spying on Catherine seems like the obvious conflict, but who is the other man following her around?

Chapters 14 - 19

(view spoiler)[ Frannie and Luke’s stubbornness when it comes to her are annoying me. After what’s been revealed, I’m hoping that it will change.

Even though I thought I would continue the series, I’m not sure that I care to read about Jack, since I was going to skip Frannie’s book anyway.

Chapter 20 - Epilogue

(view spoiler)[ Luke not realising his feelings and being insistent that Frannie is for him until the end of chapter 23 wasn't something I enjoyed. The fact that there was only one chapter of Catherine and Luke being together was disappointing.

Even though Luke invited Jack to his wedding, I didn't see how that was resolved since they never talked about it despite knowing that there was still tension and that they weren't the friends they used to be.

Sterling coming and trying to boss people around after being absent for so many years makes me glad that he'll be with Frannie so I can skip both of their stories at the same time.

I'm not interested in Jack's story, or Frannie and Sterling's book, and the average rating seems to drop with every book so I'm probably not going to continue with the series.
