And Grounded: The Adventurers of Rapunzel just can't like it for some reason

The author made the heroine too poor, it got worse and worse every next page.......I was kinda pissed

Like, this author made Batu Khan the only child of Jochi in his book Empire of Silver. In fact, Jochi (who was the eldest son of Genghis Khan and died shortly before his father) had many sons and at least one daughter. Historical sources say that Batu Khan had eighteen brothers and half-brothers, and some of them (such as his younger brother Shiban) were great generals and founders of their own dynasties. It is impossible to write them out of history. All in all, making Batu Khan the only child of Jochi is like making Henry VIII a bachelor.
Of course, a historical novel is not a history textbook, and fiction does not imply exact adherence to fact. But there was too much shameless fiction in this book. But I cannot list all his mistakes here, because there were too many.
What he wrote about the Roman Empire is even worse than what he wrote about the Mongol Empire. For example, he made Julius Caesar and his murderer Brutus childhood friends! In fact, Brutus was much younger than Caesar, and just before Brutus was born, Caesar had an affair with his mother, Servilia. Some historians even suggest that Brutus was Caesar's illegitimate son. And they certainly weren't childhood friends!

Sadly for me.....Lightlark....Please don't attack me on this I just felt let down.. and the story line was good just too overhyped and nothing special.... And also the antidote by Shelley Sackier the writing was just off for me...

What else could he smell besides virginity? Pregnancy, perhaps, or some sort of female malady? This bodyguard could have a great career as a gynaecologist!

One by One by Frieda McFadden - super disappointed and let down with those ones because so many people raved about them

100 % agree w- 1x1, FMcF

Old Lady dying from LOL here...

(I admit to feeling like a total cougar when I look at what's his name on-screen... he makes me want to dry hump a dog's leg, for real.)
Otherwise - to me, it's a series that promotes abusive relationships and severe codependency.

I have read so much F. McFadden! I love thrillers with many twists and turns and jaw-dropping, 11th-hour reveals... But after a while, her books became too formulaic. Set a scene with a female MC in distress/peril and mention several other characters; throw in a bunch of red herrings and then pin it on the least mentioned character with a twist that also implicates a best friend/boyfriend/husband/fiancée/sibling/parent/etc. and VOILA!

I really disliked All Fours... but I didn't HATE it.

I love Shakespeare! And Romeo and Juliet...
lol

I 100% agree!! These books were so disappointing for me.
